Plano LAX Day 2020

GENERAL INFORMATION

What: This is a fun, relaxed Play Day, no playoffs

Where: Jack Carter Athletic Fields, 6500 Roundrock Trail, Plano

When: Saturday, November 7 and Sunday November 8

Time: Games will be scheduled between 8am-4pm Saturday and 11-4pm Sunday


COST

·         K/2 Boys: $300 each team

·         3/4 Boys: $300 each team

·         5/6 Boys: $400 each team

·         7/8 Boys: $400 each team

·         Full payment is due at registration to secure spot

 

 

FORMAT

·         6 teams for each grade division

·         Each team will play 3 games

·         Round Robin Play Format

·         2 - 22-minute halves with 2-minute halftime

·         DFWL Youth League Rules

·         Bantam games will have 1 referee

·         Youth games will have 2 referees

 

SCHEDULE

·         Schedules will be sent out one week prior to Play Day

·         Please fill out any coaching conflicts in the registration portion

 

WAIVERS

·         Coaches will be required to sign a conduct waiver at check-in

·         Players will be required to sign a waiver and have a valid US Lacrosse membership

·         COVID-19: All players, coaches, refs, and volunteers will be required to fill out a COVID prescreening form prior to arrival

 

 

REFUNDS

·         A full refund is available if cancelation is 30 days prior to tournament

·         50% refund is available if cancelation is before 14 days prior to tournament

·         No refund is available if cancelation is within 14 days of tournament

 

In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field conditions, the Plano Lacrosse and the City of the Plano reserve the right to:

Reduce game time to catch up with the schedule.

Finish games before inclement weather arrives, or to preserve field conditions.

Reschedule games, if possible.

In the event of weather, we will post updates on the website in addition to our text messaging system.  However, weather conditions can change rapidly, and all teams should be prepared to play as soon as weather clears, and fields are playable.

If thunder or lightning is observed within 5 miles of the Park, the play will be suspended immediately, and players and fans will be asked to leave the fields.

We will make every attempt to play every minute of every game, but we will not jeopardize the safety of any player.
