Home Games For home games the league requires that we provide the following volunteers:
Game Site/Field Administrator (on the parent sideline)
Must present himself/herself to the referee prior to the opening face off. (Failure to present a Game Site Administrator prior to the game will result in a 30 second penalty to the home team.)
Administer the Sportsmanship Card
[The above volunteer position is required by the league and is a simple and usually uneventful position.]
Time Clock (1 volunteer seated or standing at/near the table in the box – same side as the players)
Keep game clock.
Start clock on referee's whistle and stop clock for stoppages on referee's whistle (i.e., out of bounds, injuries, penalties, goals, timeouts)
Sound horn at the end of the periods or when asked on a stoppage of play.
Penalty Time Keeper (1 volunteer seated at the table in the box - same side as the players)
Keep track of penalty times (the referee will tell you the penalty time.)
Release players when time is up.
Score Keeper (1 volunteer seated at the table in the box - same side as the players )
Keep track of the score and period of play.
[The above volunteer positions are a great opportunity to watch the game from a front row seat and hear all the penalty calls.]
Stats Keeper (7/8 Parent ONLY; 1 volunteer seated at the table in the box - same side as the players)
Track scoring player and team scores.

[The above two volunteer positions are a bit more involved. A great way to learn and watch the game from the trenches.]

Assist in setting up the goals.
Assist in setting up the field cones marking the field of play, player and penalty boxes.
Assist in setting up extra balls along the end lines.
